Franchise funding
For master franchisees running a region and unit franchisees cleaning the commercial contracts those regions win.
✓ Merchant Fund Express starts with a soft credit pull. Terms depend on your location's revenue and history.
Updated October 21, 2026 · Merchant Fund Express
Merchant Fund Express funds existing Stratus Building Solutions owners, now marketed as Stratus Clean, at the master and unit level: business loans, merchant cash advances, revenue-based financing, lines of credit, equipment financing and working capital from $25,000 to $5,000,000. Commercial contracts pay on invoice terms, so the review reads monthly deposit totals, royalty drafts and existing payments. A complete file gets a same-day decision, and funding often follows the next business day.
Stratus runs a two-tier model. A master franchisee operates as the regional franchisor for an exclusive territory: it sells and supports unit franchises, obtains commercial cleaning contracts and awards them to its unit owners, and earns franchise fees and ongoing royalties on unit revenue. The franchisor says masters are not expected to do the cleaning. A unit franchisee is a local janitorial business servicing the contracts it is awarded, with a package the franchisor says includes billing and collections support.
Both levels live on recurring commercial revenue. Read this alongside the cleaning and restoration franchise guide and our cleaning industry page.
Checked Oct 2026 against official sources: the franchisor's own franchising site, its FDD or SEC filings, or the SBA Franchise Directory. Figures change; confirm current numbers in the latest Franchise Disclosure Document. Figures we could not confirm from an official source are left out.
Already running a Stratus Building Solutions location and need capital? Merchant Fund Express funds existing franchise owners with every product below. Terms depend on the business's revenue and history.
A new building can double a unit's workload overnight: more cleaners, more supplies, more hours, all before the first payment cycle completes. See big contract funding.
Masters win contracts through sales staff and support unit owners with trainers and account managers, which adds payroll before new royalties arrive. See cleaning expansion funding.
Floor machines on large commercial accounts run every night. Cleaning equipment repair funding covers repair or replacement.

Consider a master office depositing $110,000 a month from fees and royalties. Office and sales payroll is $52,000, fees to the franchisor $11,000, rent and software $9,000 and existing payments $6,000. The master wants a $90,000 business loan to hire two more salespeople.
Figures in this example are illustrations of the arithmetic, not an offer, quote or approval. Real terms depend on the file and the funder.
A new master territory or unit has no deposits to read, so it needs an operating history before Merchant Fund Express can review it; see buying a franchise. Existing owners expanding are read on current deposits; see second location funding. Taking over an operating region or unit is covered on franchise transfer financing.
