Public dataset

Published business lender requirements, in one dated table.

Minimum time in business, revenue, credit score, amounts, terms and payment frequency, copied from each provider's own official pages and checked October 13, 2026. Blank means the provider does not publish it.

What this dataset is

Updated October 13, 2026 · Merchant Fund Express

This is a reference table of the minimum requirements that well-known U.S. small-business financing providers publish about themselves. Each row is one product from one provider, read on that provider's own website on October 13, 2026. Where a provider does not state a value, the cell says "Not published" instead of an estimate. Our own two published tiers are included as rows, held to the same rule.

It is useful if you want to shortlist providers whose published floors your business already clears, before you spend time on applications. It is not useful if you want prices: rates and factors depend on each file and are left out on purpose. For pricing, compare real offers with the offer comparison calculator.

Method and limitations

Official pages only. Each value comes from the provider's own site or, for the SBA, sba.gov. Review sites and aggregator summaries were not used, even where they repeat the same numbers.
Unknowns left blank. A typical-customer statement, such as "most customers have 600 or higher", is recorded as a note, not as a minimum.
Unverifiable providers skipped. Fundbox was left out because its official pages publish no time, revenue or credit floors and its own line-of-credit page states two different term sets.
A published minimum is not an approval. Clearing every floor only means a file is worth submitting. Providers also read bank activity, existing debts, industry and state.
Terms change. Every value is as of October 2026. Confirm on the source page before you rely on a number.

Payment frequency matters as much as the amount. A daily schedule takes about 21 debits a month from a business account, a weekly schedule about 4 or 5, and a monthly schedule one. Test any schedule with the payment burden calculator before you sign.

How to use it: a worked screen (illustrative)

Take a business on October 13, 2026 with 10 months of history, $22,000 a month in deposits and a 590 personal score. Annual revenue is $22,000 x 12 = $264,000. Read each row's published floors against those three numbers:

RowPublished floorsResult
Credibly6+ months, $15,000 a month, 500+Clears all three
Fora Financial small business loan6+ months, $240,000, 570+Clears all three ($264,000 is above $240,000)
QuickBridge6+ months, $250,000 in salesClears both published floors; credit not published
PayPal Business Loan9 months, $33,300Clears both; credit not published
Forward Financing1 year, $10,000 a month, 500+Misses time by 2 months
OnDeck, Bluevine1 year and 625Misses time and score
Kapitus2 years, $250,000, 650Misses time and score
Merchant Fund Express Tier 26+ months, $60,000, 600+Misses the 600 line; 500+ is still considered

Four rows clear every published floor, and two more are 2 months away. Waiting until December 2026 would add the 1-year rows; lifting the score by 35 points to 625 would add OnDeck and Bluevine once time is met.

All figures in worked examples are illustrations of the arithmetic, not offers or quotes. Real terms depend on your file and the funder.

Which provider fits which situation

Under one year in business

Rows with 6-month or 90-day floors: Credibly, Fora Financial, QuickBridge, Shopify Capital for Shopify sellers, our revenue-based tier.

Credit in the 500s

Rows publishing 500 or 570: Credibly, Forward Financing, Fora Financial. We consider 500+, and 600+ opens better offers.

Over $500,000 needed

Kapitus and the SBA 7(a) publish up to $5,000,000; Fora Financial and Shopify publish $1,500,000 and $2,000,000. Our range is $25,000 to $5,000,000.

Sales run through a platform

Square Loans and Shopify Capital repay as a share of sales on their own platforms.

Lowest cost and time to wait

SBA 7(a) and longer-term bank-style loans usually cost least, but take more paperwork and time.

An advance already open

Read position limits; our tiers allow up to 2 positions, and balances of $100,000 or less can often be bought out.

Whichever row fits, the documents a funder reads first are the same: about three months of business bank statements as PDFs, the business details (legal name, EIN, start date, industry), owner details for the credit review and a debt list. Our published lines are on funding requirements. To see where your file stands without touching your credit, run the qualification check, or go straight to the application.

Common questions

Where do these numbers come from?

Each value was read on the provider's own official website, or sba.gov, on October 13, 2026. The source URL is in the table and in every CSV row.

Why do some cells say Not published?

The provider's official page does not state that value. We leave it blank rather than estimate it or copy it from a review site.

If I clear every published minimum, will I be approved?

No. A published minimum is a floor for applying. Providers also read bank activity, existing positions, industry and state before any offer.

Why are rates not in the dataset?

Rates and factors depend on the individual file and change often. Compare real offers on net proceeds and total repaid instead.

How often is the dataset updated?

The change history line records each update. This version was first published October 13, 2026; confirm values on the source page before relying on them.
