Reading Bluevine’s requirements in practice

A 625+ score is a moderate bar that excludes many owners in the 500s. Lowering card balances and fixing report errors can help owners just below it.

Twelve months in business means newer businesses need other options for now.

$10,000 in monthly revenue is a moderate floor. Your limit will reflect revenue, credit and existing obligations.

Line limits go up to $250,000, but first limits are often lower and may grow with responsible use.

Prepare business bank statements, owner and business details and a list of existing debts.

Ask how draws are repaid and what fees apply so you can estimate the cost of using the line.

Illustrative self-check: an owner with a 640 score, 18 months in business and $14,000 in monthly deposits meets all three published Bluevine floors. An owner with a 610 score and the same business does not meet the credit floor, even though revenue and history are fine. One factor below the floor is usually enough to decline.

How the line works once approved: you draw what you need up to your limit, repay that draw on a schedule, and the repaid amount becomes available again. Bluevine says draws arrive in a few hours by wire or the next business day by ACH.

Document readiness: recent business bank statements that match your stated revenue, consistent deposits without long gaps and no unresolved negative balance days help any line application.

Bluevine applicants can confirm eligibility before a full review.

If you do not meet Bluevine’s requirements

Owners below 625, under a year in business or below $10,000 monthly revenue should compare providers with lower floors. Merchant Fund Express publishes a 500 credit minimum and offers lines of credit, MCAs, second position funding and buyouts.
