Funding situations
Statements arrive after month-end. A funder reviewing on the 20th still wants to see the 20 days that have passed.

At Merchant Fund Express, here is the short answer: Late in the month a reviewer wants current activity, not only closed statements. Provide a PDF of the current period.
Closed statements are history. The current month shows today’s balance, current deposits and any new debits, which tells a reviewer what is happening now.
| Case | Signal | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Closed months look strong | Month-to-date shows a new debit or a dip | The offer is sized to current reality |
All figures in worked examples are illustrations of the arithmetic, not offers or quotes. Real terms depend on your file and the funder.

An owner applies on the 22nd and includes a month-to-date PDF showing a new debit and a strong week. The reviewer sees both and sizes the payment around the new debit. Without it the closed statements would have shown the old picture.
