What this models

A refinance pays off the remaining balances and replaces them with one facility repaid weekly. The calculator treats the new payback as the payoff times a multiple you choose, spreads it over the term and compares the monthly outflow with what you pay now.

Reading the result

Cash freed is the monthly drop in payments
Extra cost is the new total minus what you owe today
If the extra cost is small and the cash freed is large, the refinance is doing its job
If the freed cash is small, the move is probably not worth it

Limits and options are covered in MCA refinance, MCA buyout and consolidation. A balance of $100,000 or less can often be bought out.

In practice

An owner owes $42,000 and pays about $17,200 a month. A 1.15 multiple over 26 weeks gives about $9,300 a month, freeing roughly $7,900 and adding about $6,300 to the total. She decides the relief is worth the cost because her account has been negative weekly.
