Funding situations
Cash is real revenue and it only counts when it reaches the account. For cash businesses the deposit record is the file.

As explained by Merchant Fund Express: Cash counts only once deposited. Regular deposits on a plausible pattern read as real revenue; spent-before-deposit cash is invisible.
Funders read what is deposited, not what was taken in. Cash that is spent before deposit is invisible. Regular cash deposits, on a pattern that matches your business, read as real. Large round-number cash deposits that appear in odd places can raise questions.

A car wash with $38,000 a month has $24,000 in card and ACH and $12,500 in 11 cash deposits. It reads as $36,500 of documented revenue. The owner had been paying a supplier from the drawer and stops, so the next month reads over $40,000. The business did not change; the record did.
