Use case
Switching suppliers or markets after tariffs often costs money before it saves money.
✓ Checking what you qualify for does not affect your credit score.
Short answer: Use funding for the transition, not the permanent cost. Moving to a new supplier, building stock ahead of a tariff change or bridging delayed orders are timing problems funding can solve. A tariff that permanently raises costs needs a price change or a new supplier; financing it month after month only adds cost.

Switching suppliers or markets after tariffs often costs money before it saves money.
A business hit by tariffs may need to buy from a new supplier with different terms, carry extra inventory during the switch or redesign products. Those costs arrive before the benefits.
Size the request to the transition costs: the first orders with a new supplier, extra freight and any retooling. Avoid funding ongoing losses.
A furniture importer depositing about $90,000 a month asks for $30,000 for first orders from a new supplier. At a 1.22 factor the payback is $36,600, a cost of $6,600. Over roughly 6 months that is about $290 per business day, or close to 7% of monthly deposits.

A short advance suits a defined transition. Government and Crown corporation programs may offer support for affected businesses; check current programs.
Use funding for the cost of changing course, not to keep absorbing a cost that will not go away. If the switch restores margin, the funding pays for itself.
Before funding a tariff transition, write down what the business looks like once the transition is complete: new supplier costs, new prices and the expected margin. If that end state is profitable, funding the bridge is a sound decision. If it is not, the problem is the business model, and borrowing will only delay the decision.

Ask for the amount you can name in dollars and tie to a quote, invoice or schedule. A smaller, specific request is easier to approve and cheaper to repay.
It depends on whether the need is a one-time purchase or a recurring gap. See the comparison pages for the trade-offs.
