A merchant cash advance has one fixed total. This calculator turns the factor rate into dollars and into a payment you can budget against.
Every figure on this page is illustrative arithmetic in Canadian dollars. It is not an offer, a quote or a promise of approval.
The payback is the amount multiplied by the factor rate. The cost is the payback minus the amount. The daily payment is the payback divided by the number of business days in the term, using the days per month you enter. Weekly is five days of that.
The annualized figure spreads the dollar cost across the term and scales it to a year. It exaggerates cost on short terms and understates it on long ones, which is why it is a rough guide only.
Enter $50,000, a factor of 1.25 and six months. The payback is $62,500 and the cost $12,500. At 21 business days a month that is about $496 a day and about $2,480 a week. If you shorten the term to four months the daily payment rises to about $744, though the total is unchanged.
Use the factor on the offer you are looking at. Typical ranges are 1.10 to 1.50 depending on the file and structure.
No. If fees are deducted from the amount, reduce the amount to the net you actually receive.
