Declined
CapFront publishes its term-loan bar: 1+ year, $15,000+ a month and 600+ credit. If you missed one of those lines, here is where the bar is lower and what to do next.
✓ Checking what you qualify for does not affect your credit score.
CapFront publishes eligibility for its term loan (checked October 15, 2026), and Finder reports credit floors for its other products. That narrows the likely causes of a decline:
| What CapFront publishes | Figure |
|---|---|
| Term loan: time in business | 1+ year |
| Term loan: revenue | $15,000+ a month |
| Term loan: credit | 600+ (flexible) |
| Line of credit: credit (per Finder) | 560+ |
| SBA 7(a) and Express: credit (per Finder) | 675 |

No hard credit cutoff here, and the line of credit reaches $350,000.
The minimum FICO is 500. The 650/600/550 tiers are product criteria that decide which product a file is read against, not a floor on the business. Scores in the 500s are placed routinely and are read on revenue, deposit consistency and time in business rather than on the score alone.
Revenue-based files are read from 6 months in business. If you already carry an advance, a buyout of a balance of $100,000 or less can lower the payment, and second position funding is available.
Tier 1: 650 FICO, 3 years in business, $300,000 a year or $25,000 a month, 8+ monthly deposits.
Tier 2: 600 FICO, 6 months in business, $60,000 revenue, $800 minimum daily balance.
Renewal: 550 FICO, 2 years in business, once 50% of the original balance is repaid.
A position with a balance of $100,000 or less can be refinanced into a weekly-payment structure.
Illustrative example: an owner declined by CapFront for a term loan, with a 570 score, 9 months in business and $20,000 a month in deposits, missed CapFront’s 600 floor and its 1-year bar. Here the file would be read on revenue and deposits from the 500 floor, and the question becomes how much a revenue-based product supports.
Ask CapFront which product your file was reviewed for and which line it missed. If it was the time-in-business bar, a few more months may change the answer there. Write down any advance or loan you already hold: the funder, the remaining balance, the payment and how often it is taken. Check your last three to four months of bank statements for negative days and returned items. Whatever offer you get next, compare the APR including every fee and the total payback, not just the starting rate.
No. A prior decline elsewhere is not one of the thresholds on this site.
