PMF vs MFE
Both work with outside funders and both offer merchant cash advances and lines of credit. The differences are in what each publishes, how pricing is shown, and what borrowers say afterwards.

Pricing disclosure. PMF publishes a factor range as a percentage (15% to 49%). Merchant Fund Express shows the total payback in dollars on each offer before you sign, so you compare actual amounts rather than ranges.
Lines of credit. PMF’s published line asks for owner FICO above 600 and $20,000 a month, up to $250,000. The line available through Merchant Fund Express runs from $10,000 to $350,000, from 1% a month with a 2.49% fee per draw and no fee to keep it open.
Minimum credit. PMF does not publish a minimum score for its advances; its LA branch lists 500+ for most programs. Merchant Fund Express reviews applications from 500, and better credit gets better offers.
Existing advances. PMF says it can consolidate existing advances. Merchant Fund Express arranges buyouts on balances of $100,000 or less and second position funding, and shows the payoff and net new cash before you sign.
Breadth. PMF also sells credit card processing, payroll, bookkeeping, SEO and mortgage products. Merchant Fund Express focuses on business funding.
Illustrative only. If a quote at the top of PMF’s published range (1.49) is collected over six months, $40,000 becomes $59,600 in total, about $473 every business day across 126 days. An offer at 1.30 over the same six months would total $52,000, about $413 a day. The $7,600 difference is the reason to collect more than one written offer before signing, whoever you apply with.
Arithmetic for illustration; neither figure is an actual offer from either company.
