PayPal Working Capital requirements

Account age: 90+ days. A new PayPal business account needs at least three months of history.
Sales: $15,000 in annual PayPal sales for a business account or $20,000 for a Premier account. Only PayPal volume counts.
Credit: no personal credit check, per PayPal.
Amount: $1,000 to $250,000, rising to $400,000 for repeat borrowers.
Repayment: a percentage of PayPal sales plus a minimum payment every 90 days. Make sure your PayPal volume comfortably covers that minimum.
Worked check (illustrative): with $40,000 in yearly PayPal sales, roughly $10,000 lands in each 90-day period; that volume needs to cover the minimum payment shown in your offer.
Business versus Premier accounts: PayPal sets a lower sales threshold for business accounts ($15,000 a year) than for Premier accounts ($20,000). If you sell enough to qualify and still use a Premier account, it is worth knowing which threshold applies to you before you expect an offer.
Choosing your repayment percentage: PayPal lets you pick the share of each PayPal sale that goes to the loan. A higher share repays sooner; a lower share leaves more cash each day but takes longer. Because the fee is fixed, paying faster does not increase it, but the 90-day minimum still has to be met.
What disqualifies most applicants: an account younger than 90 days, annual PayPal sales below the threshold, or an existing PayPal Working Capital balance still outstanding. Sellers who move most of their volume to another processor may also see smaller offers.
Sellers below the PayPal thresholds, or whose revenue runs elsewhere, can compare providers reviewing total bank deposits. Merchant Fund Express publishes a 500 credit minimum and offers MCAs, lines of credit, second position funding and buyouts.
