Most delays between approval and money in the account come from a short list of causes: incomplete documents, verification problems, undisclosed obligations, banking cut-off times and missed verification calls. Nearly all are preventable.

Documentation gaps are the most common cause. Missing statement pages, a missing month, screenshots instead of PDFs, or statements from an account that does not match the business name all send the file back for more information. Provide complete bank PDFs for every requested month and every revenue account at the start.
Verification issues come next. Funders typically verify the business existence through state records, the owner identity, the bank account ownership and sometimes the business phone or location. A business name on the application that differs from the bank account or state registration, an address that does not match, or a phone number that goes unanswered can each add a day.
Undisclosed obligations cause late-stage delays. If underwriters find recurring debits to another funder that were not listed, the file usually goes back for review or re-pricing. List every advance and loan with its balance and payment upfront.
Banking mechanics matter. ACH transfers initiated after a cut-off time, on a Friday or before a bank holiday typically arrive the next business day after the weekend or holiday. Wires can be faster if sent before the bank wire cut-off. Some banks hold large incoming transfers for review.
Finally, the verification call or e-signature step. Many funders call the owner before releasing funds to confirm details. Missing that call, or not completing the e-signature promptly, can push funding to the next day.
MFE considers credit from 500 and can fund as soon as the next business day when documents are complete and the owner is reachable.
